In My Kitchen December 2015

I’ve decided to this months In My Kitchen post a little differently.

I once tried a podcast and I didn’t LOVE the result. But recently I’ve been making a few little Vloggy (yes, that’s a thing apparently) videos and uploading them to YouTube. I’m really enjoying the whole process, the filming, editing and even the music choosing (which I actually think is the hardest part).

In this video I’m giving away 5 of my sourdough starter and ebook packs, watch to find out how to enter. You can enter up to two times, but you can only win once. Competition closes at 7pm Thurs 17th of Dec and winners will be contacted soon after.

Please do let me know what you think of my little foray into YouTube.

  1. The video was great, such a different way of doing the IMK post. While I enjoyed looking at the things, like the mugs, that you were intending to show us, I actually loved the asides, like the comments about the Lego! And your comments about Celia were spot on; I am sure that you spoke for all of us who know her. Your sourdough book would be great to win. I have tried sourdough baking without success.

  2. Loved the video/vlog/podcast Clare. I pass through Heathcote on the way to my mum’s place, there are quite a few wineries there but we have stopped before. I do love a tempranillo (?)though, so we will give it a try next time. Also, artichokes…… I’ve only ever eaten them preserved, so I am intrigued about your cooking and eating instructions…

    1. Thank you so much Dani and CONGRATULATIONS! I’ll be posting your sourdough starter out asap. I’m also thinking about post an artichoke video soon, what do you think?

  3. A sourdough starter pack! I’ve never heard of a dry starter before. I’ve tried once to start my own but it didn’t quite work because I had to go away for a few days and when I came back it died. I never got around to starting another since but my partner has been bugging me to make him some sourdough bread. It’s his fav and I do want to grant him his wish. Keeping my fingers crossed!

    1. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Sorry that you didn’t win this one but I’ll be sending out a discount code to my newsletter subscribers tomorrow evening, so if you’d like you can sign up HERE

  4. Was lovely to visit your kitchen via the vlog Clare (oh wow – ‘vlog’ just looks so wrong as a word!) Hope your duplo injury is healing nicely and the lady bird made it back outside ok. Thanks for your generosity in doing a give away of your ebook, that’s a bit special 🙂

    1. Thanks so much Em. Sorry that you didn’t win this one but I’ll be sending out a discount code to my newsletter subscribers tomorrow evening, so if you’d like you can sign up HERE

  5. HI Clare,

It was great to see In My Kitchen video style what a great idea!

And congratulations on releasing a book I love the idea of sending the dry sourdough to help people on their sourdough journey. I have been wanting to do it for awhile so fingers crossed this might be my starter!

  6. Clare, I love the video, especially all the edits. It’s so beautiful and so you. You continue to grow and post such lovely content. Love, love LOVE it! x

  7. What a wonderful way to share your IMK post! It is lovely to get a glimpse into your kitchen but also get a sense of the lovely you. You look so comfortable in front of the camera, love the asides. You are inspiring!

Being in the states I cannot be part of the sourdough giveaway, Celia posted me my Samuel last year. But I would love a peek at your ebook. Good for you.
