- Your blog is your brand. Make it reflect you.
- You’ll never get anywhere if you don’t start!
- It doesn’t hurt to ask for help! You’re already getting a ‘no’ if you don’t ask and the worst thing someone can say to you is ‘no’.
- Try working on your new project for 15 mins a day.
- Inspiration without confrontation is completely empty.
- People don’t have a lot of time; make posts shorter, and make mini-series out of them.
- Put your readers in the spot light by helping them shape your posts.
- Big groups of people aren’t so scary, especially ones who are passionate about things you’re passionate about.
- Life is short, so do what you want with it!
- You are unique! You are your greatest asset!
What’s your favourite life tip?
Great little summary Clare! I try to hard to do the 15 minutes a day but always seem to push it aside. I need to do it first thing in the morning!

I really should too. I’d love to start on an ebook but life seems to get in the way. I really need to heed my own advice!

No worries Monet. I think it’s a great idea to get a judge of what your readers want to read.

I love them all! But especially number two – I toyed with the idea of a blog for years before I started. It was scary taking that first step and I still haven’t completely put myself out there. At first I thought it was just writing a post and getting some comments, but I’m SO grateful that it has lead to meeting wonderful people such as yourself!! xx

I wish I could have attended ProBlogger this year but oh well, there is always next year! Thanks for sharing those tips – I’m finding that spending even a small amount of time on my blog every day is difficult though 😦

Libby, it’s a fantastic event, even just for meeting so many like minded people. I’ve been much more confident introducing myself as a blogger since then!

Catherine, I’d recommend it to everyone! Even just to get an online business up and running, or building an online community. It really was great!

I only have one tip for enduring a “different” and often “difficult” life and that is Breathe In and Breathe Out, Breathe In and Breathe Out…….. If i wasnt such a woose i would get it tatooed on the inside of my arm to keep reminding me.
The conference sounds like something i would enjoy, so perhaps next year.
